Why is Public Service important to you?

“As a kid, I was enamored by Batman, Superman, or other super heroes. I thought working as a police officer was the closest thing I could be to becoming one. When I grew older, I realized what defines the purpose of those special humans; they come and render aid to those in need who can’t help themselves. I feel that having the knowledge, training, and experience to help others in need in times of great chaos or need fulfills a purpose I have to protect and help others.”
