PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Bryce joined the Virginia Beach Fire Department in 2011. He has accomplished the Firefighter II and EMT Advanced certifications, and has completed training in rope rescue, vehicle extrication, and water rescue. He has also achieved requirements necessary to become a Master Firefighter (MFF).


Why is Public Service important to you?

“Without people dedicated to helping others, the world would be a much darker place. When a person is having the worst day of their lives, they call 911 because they know first responders/ public servants are on the other end ready to help at whatever cost.”

VOLLEYBALL CAREER

Bryce played for Norfolk Collegiate High School and Coastal Juniors club volleyball program, competing all over the country. He’s since competed in countless open level indoor and beach volleyball competitions sanctioned by USA Volleyball, VolleyAmerica and others. He joined United Volleyball USA in 2014, and participated in the 2015 World Police and Fire Games Championship in Fairfax, Virginia, and in the 2017 World Police and Fire Games Championship in Los Angeles, California.
