Why is Public Service important to you?

“Public Service is important to me because it gives us the opportunity to help people in a time of need. We have the chance to serve our community and assist our citizen, sometimes with something simple and sometimes during their most dire times. Whatever the situation we have opportunity to make a significant difference, to affect their lives in a positive way. Like Ralph Waldo Emerson said ‘To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.’”
